My 8 yr old got the last of her birthday presents today from her aunts. I asked her when she was going to bed if she had a good day today and she said she did but she was disappointed that she didn't get a Webkinz for her birthday like her sister did. (it doesn't matter that she already has 6 of them) I told her that her sister bought one with her birthday money - she didn't get one from anybody and told her she had birthday money to spend if she wanted to buy one too. "But mom I'm not spending that money!" "Why not?" "I'm saving up for a car! - do you know how expensive cars are these days?!"

Hey, your 8 year old sounds very smart! If you are lucky maybe he/she will buy their own car. HA!
